World Food Day-is observed by UN every 15 october to raise awareness about poverty and hunger that catches millions in this world. This year's theme is "the Right to food".To me , this day is alteast a alarm to this capitalist soaked world that still there are hundreds of million living in our same world, striving to get even a square meal.


Long before, my friend once asked me...Why should we really care about these people who cant even earn meal a day? why should these inable souls make this world so heavy?....i was so irritated but,his questions were logical...i was not in a position to answer him there....i thought was he really right?....what went wrong?....Why are we to bother when we pay all taxes and govt. spends those to them.... Then really came a light...i cursed my stupidness...i was ashame our Gen next's ignorance to this issues... for that monetary passion that made least bother about human....

Govt. lays road n who travels in it luxuriously...we enjoy all sometimes jus to show our richness...leaving those strive for a meal/day....Many to suffer were agriculture labours...Agriculture is sickened... none cares for it unless a month before elections...For the sake of luxury, as economic addicts,we spoilt the environment...armed the globe....Warmed the globe...in turn had a great blow to agriculture....which left these people with begger bowls...at the same time
..we made a uhhh!!! Its too hot ya... and got a air -conditioner furthur fuelling the disaster...

Lot to talk ...finally,In these scenario, i would call this day to be success atleast if it triggers a tear for ourdoing and conditions and vow to minimize as much as we can.....

CHAKDE - after a long time

Chakde India - €“poster with shah rukh & band of girls in Indian sport uniform didno€™t appeal to me much। I first thought to be a sort of commercial in name of sports just like too many films coming now which depends one n only on heroic image। With king khan   starrer , obviously anyone would first end up with this notion,  But to my surprise here...story was hero and no one else.

Hats off to the director! for having made no cinematic compromises for sake of box office. Normal movie may actually have  a duet for priety n abimanyu or a heroine for khan who just does  come n go for sake to be jus heroine n nothing more...( didn't see any vijay movie?) ya...but these compromises would have actually hid the story, saved many WebPages writing good reviews or would have prevented many from watching  this movie(including our president) and  saved their  precious time, but for god'€™s sake, he had no such nonsense , ultimately making the movie enter memorable movie collection of many(including me). I think we would really miss something if we have not watched this movie.

To talk about hockey, I know nothing more than it being National game and Dhanraj pillai. This movie could really boost the interest for hockey. And to be specific, hockey was just used as a tool to tell us about the importance given to sports in general and women hockey in particular.

The scene in hockey federation centre really tells us that the reluctance shown by our officials is a great lacuna to achieve great heights. It attempts to answer the questions, when we have very high potential players in our country, why is India always at the bottom in medal list? How come even small countries that too in Africa could better the 2^nd populous country?

A role played by shah Rukh is worth of mention n even praise n admiration here. In Indian scenario, we know how difficult it is to shrug off his king khan image n just act as a coach which perfectly fits the story. Way of his expression to change silver to gold rises high spirit even in our heart.

€œYou no need strength, its only the intention to win€ is true even beyond the sports. The needed team spirit, egoisms of senior players, clash with coach is truly derived from the sports happenings in or country, but When leader is efficient and unselfish, he could make travel with same intention towards the goal. This movie stands as another testimonial to this concept.

Could talk about this movie for hours.....wise to see the movie many times....but a wiser decision would be to  keep hockey on par with cricket in particular, n women on par with men in general...Reluctance  from govt. Officials to the viewers (like me...)who does channel hopping on the very movement on seeing hockey(especially women tournaments, but not on cricket or tennis should be avoided.....If this could be achieved (at least in me..) ya...chakde India has done its job.

Dimensions and beyond........

supernaturalism

        I have lot of dreams and in variety too….. (Too long hours to sleep……….).I m lucky, I don’t have apparition of ghosts, but I had vc snatching my mobile and la la …funny. Some time I wondered I had dreams worth a fruitful thought .It is not really a thought but some ideas that registered in my sub-conscious…..I was alone in the room, planning to go home next day morning. Every other flew home. I was too bored that I began watching Matrix 1 movie for some twelfth or thirteenth time. I just don’t know those engulfing lush green have engulfed me every time I see the movie……then Neo’s supernatural fight sequence….ability load programs into our brain…I m just flabbergasted. There aroused a small spark that spoilt my sleep that day …(so vetti…)…we people admire and like to watch supernatural sequences(at least for comedy …we watch vijayakanth movies..).

what's next

   Cine industry pours in technology to make screens look bigger than real. Even in our home ,TV’s display size grows from 14” to …………so is its picture resolution Giving us treat to the eyes , but makes it far from reality though it is near reality.Ya ! we have audio even crystal clear with technology of digital dolbyyyyyyyyyyy surround , 5.1 or 7.1……..storage is no matter for us as we are gonna see the films each in terabytes in near future who knows…..these everything seems to pass in my mind in a fraction of second…….there hang the question …..Are we limited to eye and ears only to sense entertainment….Is there 3 dimension………….ok …ok..there is 3D already that gives us perspective view…..Ya is there a possibility of 4D…How will be 4D…..by some means if we reproduce a odour that exists…………….I thought….Ya Is there some related research going on…..I wanna check the net (….when we think so called people in the west accomplish….what to do ?).

     Meanwhile I had to tour Singapore. Accidentally they said Sentosa islands offers 4D show…….I was so interested that I thought 4D would have some smellers (as similar to speakers )…..that would dissipate fragrance as people in movie come across gardens and aroma of food and so on…….It is because Google listed me some sites that say researchers have some camera that would sense smell and store it digitally…..Finally a day came where I m afraid if my dream would come true…..We have to pay SD$16 (around Rs.470 ) each to watch 4D movie for 15 minutes…….ya I was so happy my dream hasn’t been realized……but slight change smellers are to be fifth generation rather than 4D….yes ! it was different experience where our touch sensation (tactileness) provided us 4D.We had specially designed seats(as u see in pic.) that would synchronise with the movie.If people travel in wobbling ship due to winds, we too are wobbling.A person in the movie pirates of carribean fell from a hilltop …so are we having blowing air at sides and great thud at last .Ofcourse we are safe.when water splashed on people .water from the seat splahed on us too…Ok that is another story.

my dream(my udanz.......)

    I read a article in nature that states that researchers have developed a smell-camera by which we could take the snapshot of a smell.It is actually a digital camera with plexiglass inside containing odour sensitive dyes.Dyes change colour inresponse to odour similar to that of litmus paper we use for our chemistry lab ,which changes color on sensing the gas. Similar technique has to be developed to reproduce smell as well.Then our dream would be successful and sometimes horrible when we have to come across ditches in don movies.Till then we will enjoy tasty foods as we see bloody scenes in the movie…(someone shouts : ok..ok..enough of blade go..)
